Crossland High School in the Temple Hills, Maryland has been placed on lockdown Tuesday after police were made aware of a social media threat.
The threat was posted to Twitter Tuesday morning, saying another school shooting was going to happen at the high school.
Prince George’s County police are currently looking for the person responsible for posting the threat.
Police placed the school on lockdown out of an abundance of caution.
Police say that it was a grave threat that was made, but that the situation is under control.
The investigation continues.
