You shall have no other gods before Me…

We worship false gods when our heroes are determined not by their values but by their financial worth. We idolize people of wealth – and so we pursue lives that will fill our bank accounts and leave our spirit barren.

We impress upon our children the goal of success – and then define it in ways that will leave them spiritually unfulfilled.

We compare the salaries of our educators and our spiritual leaders to the titans of Wall Street, the stars of the sports world and the famous entertainment figures and we have no trouble discerning what the world round about us most reveres.

To believe in God requires us to reject all the false gods of our society that seek only to still the voice of our conscience and the stirrings of our soul.

Police probe sexual encounter in PGCPS

Prince George’s County police and school officials are investigating an incident in which a sexual encounter between students was videotaped in a bathroom at Frederick Douglass High School, and that video was exchanged among other students via mobile phones, according to officials familiar with the case.

The incident came to the attention of school officials last week, and Frederick Douglass’s principal spoke with the student body and notified parents of what happened, said Prince George’s County schools spokesman Briant Coleman. He said school officials also talked with Prince George’s County police to determine whether criminal charges might be warranted, but — at least initially — “they found nothing criminal took place.” Read more~~> Pgcpsmess

While this behavior is wide-spread in PGCPS, It’s not about whether or not the girl knew  or consented etc.  It is a crime to distribute child pornography. The students in these cases need to understand there is a time and a place for everything (and at school is not the place for these actions). The students need to comprehend that there are consequences to most actions both good and bad.

Finally,  Union leadership and others smooching in the closets in PGCPS schools and offices need to be dwelt with too. They might as well start looking for other jobs before full investigations commences.

Prince George’s Schools & Dr. Hite Sued By Principals.

The Prince George’s County Public Schools system is facing a lawsuit from the union that represents the schools’ principals and administrators. According to the published article by NBC News, The Association of Supervisory and Administrative School Personnel, or ASASP, filed a $100 million federal class action suit against the schools and Dr. William Hite Jr  on November 2, 2012.

The Complaint centers a lot on Dr. William Hite Jr who alone replaced almost half of the principals in the Prince George’s County Public schools (PGCPS) (Read More)

Daily fights in PGCPS.

In  addition to the issues we have already been complaining about, there is the issue of daily fights in many schools in PGCPS, starting with Largo,  Parkdale,  Laurel and High Point High Schools etc. Click the highlights to view for yourselves. Many PG citizens are not aware of these many brutal fights.  Students and staff are hurting and getting a very bad deal under superintendent William Hite. 

We need to create a safe and orderly environment for our students and staff in the PGCPS schools. Furthermore, we should restore the “Children come first” motto before electing a new Supritendent.  Dr. William Hite Jr should resign immediately without much delay.  (William Hite Jr  EdD is pictured below).
