People protest outside Governor Larry Hogan’s “dark money” fundraiser.
Why has the Prince George’s County Public schools (PGCPS) leadership become so thoroughly corrupt? The reason is historical—it goes back many decades—and, in a way, philosophical. The Prince George’s County School system is best understood as an insurgency that carried the seeds of its own corruption from the start.
We don’t mean the kind of corruption that regularly sends lowlifes like Rod Blagojevich, the Democratic former governor of Illinois, to prison. Those abuses are nonpartisan and always with us. So is vote theft of the kind we’ve just seen in North Carolina—after all, the alleged fraudster employed by the Republican candidate for Congress hired himself out to Democrats in 2010.
However, sensing danger, a group of approximately 100 educators — most from Baltimore and Prince George’s County — protested outside a glitzy fundraiser that featured Gov. Lawrence J. Hogan Jr. (R) Thursday evening. Some cited corruption as the reason.
The event, held in a lavish ballroom at the Maryland Live! Casino in Anne Arundel County, raised an undisclosed sum for Change Maryland, the anti-tax hike organization that Hogan started eight years ago and that ultimately fueled his successful pursuit of the State House.
As men in tuxedos and women in gowns drove up to the casino’s valet parking area, a bus carrying teachers and public education advocates pulled up to the curb. Protesters quickly poured out, chanting and waving signs in a light rain.
They were immediately met by hotel security personnel and Anne Arundel County police officers, who ordered them off the casino’s grounds.
As they marched, they chanted “Fund our schools,” “Our children can’t wait,” and “$25,000 a table,” a reference to the cost of top-tier tickets to the black-tie gala. They handed out fliers that said, “As the richest state in the country, we can afford to fund the Kirwan recommendations.”
Hogan and his aides have taken to referring to the Commission on Innovation and Excellence in Education as the “Kirwan Tax Hike Commission”. The panel, which has spent three years formulating its recommendations, is chaired by former University System of Maryland chancellor William E. “Brit” Kirwan.
“We know that this Kirwan Commission funding is so important for our students,” said Theresa Mitchell Dudley, head of the Prince George’s County teachers’ union. “We’re here to send a message to our governor that our kids can’t wait.”
However, Theresa Mitchell Dudley failed to disclose that, she is at the center of major public corruption in the Prince George’s county and is driving Union corrution in many ways. Read more on her shenanigans here.

Mrs. Theresa Mitchell Dudley (pictured here) is a real thug based on many observations. She is currently serving two masters and should resign one position due to conflicts of interests in politics. She is also engaged in a pattern of racketeering activity in PGCPS. #DespotsMustFall
As stated earlier, senior officials of Prince George’s County are not doing any better either, there is evidence that Dr. Thornton (the new Board of Education Chairman) his role is driven by dirty politics in order cover up misconduct within the Prince George’s county public schools and in Maryland. These are the rampant mismanagement Governor Larry Hogan is talking about. Indeed, long before County Executive Alsobrooks made the announcement for Mr. Thornton to be the new PGCPS new Board Chair, this troubling revelation was already known.

Dr. Alvin Thornton is facilitating the worst misconduct in the history of the Prince George’s county public schools dealing with senior officials under his watch. He needs to resign at the earliest opportunity before he is arrested #DespotsMustFall
Dr. Thornton has links to the current President of Prince George’s County Community College, Dr. Charlene Dukes, who endorsed wrongful terminations after she was awarded about $10 million to start a charter school within the Prince George’s County community college when hearing concerning PGCPS corruption was in progress. This malicious activity was part of quid pro quo. A Motion to recuse her due to many conflicts of interests requesting her to step aside was presented to her and she refused. Dr. Thornton has strong links too with the Maryland State Education Association officers who interfered with arbitration and the lawyers whom employees had hired to represent them but were compromised during County Executive Alsobrooks tenure as the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney.

For those complaining about the state of Prince George’s County’s economy, the criminal debt levels and runaway plunder by those occupying public office, please know that nothing will improve until we replace the looters at the PGCPS Headquarters at Sasscer administrative Building in Upper Marlboro and Largo with visionary leaders of integrity.
Kwame Nkrumah PC once said, we must first deal with the SUPERSTRUCTURE – POLITICS – and all else will follow. With despots at the top, the economy might collapse completely, there will be mayhem if the current corrupt leadership is left unchallenged and Maryland as a state will become worse.
In fact, there is strong evidence, Dr. Monica Goldson current CEO for Prince George’s County advanced corruption for years! Since the exposure of her illegal activities, Goldson has since scheduled three meetings where she only takes notes, she did not respond to the concerns expressed by employees, parents and others in these meetings. They say it was a listening session. #DespotsMustFall. It’s only after we wrote in this blog about her lack of communication that, Dr. Monica Goldson responded about the School Bus fiasco currently in progress today.
The cover ups of public corruption in Prince George’s Country and in Maryland is ongoing illegal activity since it is willful in nature. In this kind of situation, both sides are not helping with the situation to secure the funding or save it for other projects due to the shenanigans’ involved. Revolution is the way, the means and the solution. Silence is not an option here.
